Title: Electromagnetic Measurement Laboratory
1. Introduction:
Since the establishment of our department 84 years ago (in the Republic of China calendar), it has received support and guidance from all sectors, and its curriculum, equipment, and faculty have been recognized by relevant institutions both domestically and internationally. Since the 88th academic year, the department has been approved to add an Avionics Division. To strengthen students' core competencies in aircraft antenna design and aircraft electromagnetic characteristics, this Aircraft Electromagnetic Measurement Laboratory was established.
2. Object:
Targeting the antenna components and electromagnetic characteristics of aircraft and satellite structures used in communication, navigation, and radar equipment for aircraft and satellites, this laboratory designs experiments and research modules so that students can understand the antenna principles used in various aircraft and satellite communication, navigation, and radar systems, as well as the electromagnetic effects present in aircraft and satellites. Through hands-on operation, students learn the testing skills for antenna components and electromagnetic characteristics of communication, navigation, and radar equipment, thereby developing the capability for research and innovation.

4. Teaching & Research:
- This laboratory can support the following courses: Antenna Principles and Design, RF Circuit Design, Avionics Navigation Practicum, and Special Topics Projects.
- The laboratory can support students in designing and producing antenna component projects related to various communication systems, achieving practical application of what has been learned.
5. Facility:
- Software: IE3D, CST, ANSYS HFSS, SuperNEC, EZNEC Pro, and others.
- Hardware: Vector Network Analyzer and calibration equipment, antenna measurement anechoic chamber, circular polarization measurement system, transmitting antenna, receiving antenna, turntable system, measurement control system, PCB engraving machine, and others.
